History

During the 40s, Mr. Hidrovo started the first generation of coffee and cocoa beans traders in the Province of Manabí, laying the foundations so the future generations would continue with this noble family business, and so on 1987, Mr. Ignacio Hidrovo Solorzano continued with the legacy of trading coffee beans, cocoa beans, corn, and other agricultural products.

 

In 2008, the exporting activity began, focusing in cocoa and coffee beans, and the company EXPORTADORA HIDROVO MUÑOZ S.A., EXPHIMUSA, was born as a family-managed business willing to continue with the same strategies of quality excellence of the products and services provided.

 

With comprehensive and well-defined goals at their farm Hacienda Los Nachos, the company also began to develop the crop and production of cocoa beans of the varieties Nacional and CCN51, Arabica coffee beans, and diverse areas of Teak trees and other forest species.
